What is Acupuncture?

Today, several types of acupuncture are available, include traditional treatments with acupuncture needles, non-invasive (needle-less) acupuncture, and other options such as auricular and scalp treatments.

Is Acupuncture safe?

Yes, acupuncture is a safe practice. To avoid the possibility of transmitting communicable diseases, only sterilized, individually packaged, disposable needles are used for treatments in our clinic.

Is Acupuncture painful?

Most patients experience little to no pain when receiving acupuncture treatments, and typically describe the sensation as a small warmth or tingling. Non-invasive acupuncture is another option that is completely pain-free.

Will Acupuncture conflict with any other medical treatment I am currently receiving?

No, acupuncture will not conflict with any other treatment you may be receiving. But, it is very important to inform the staff of any treatments you are currently receiving.

What is Herbal Medicine?

Herbal medicine are made with natural plants and minerals. It is used as an addition to acupuncture to assist in the healing process. All herbal medicines are tested in modern labs before they are released to the market.

Does Herbal Medicine have any side effects?

In general, herbal medicine does not have side effects. However, please follow the instructions and the recommended dosage amounts. If you are currently taking other medications, it is very important to inform the staff of the medication.
